About 2012 Membership Subscriptions Pay 2012 Subscription by Credit Card

Members' Subscriptions become due on 1st January each year. The current Annual Subscription for New Zealand members is $60 for those not wishing to receive the Year Book. There is a slightly higher subscription rate for overseas members to cover the extra mailing costs - $70 for Australian members and $75 elsewhere in the world.
An early payment rebate of $5 may be deducted if paying by cheque or Internet Bank Transfer by 31 January 2012. (Discount is not available if paying by credit card.)
Members may pre-order the 2013 Yearbook (for delivery December 2012) with the 2012 Subscription. The cost is $16.50 for New Zealand Members,
$23 for Australia and $25 for elsewhere in the the world. These prices include postage and packing.
(The recommended retail price in New Zealand is about $20 plus postage.)
Please note: Yearbook payments received with 2012 subscriptions
will be assumed to be for the 2013 Yearbook delivered during December 2012 unless other wise advised.
The RASNZ is always pleased to accept donations to further its work in various areas. The RASNZ is now registered with the Charity Commission, registration number CC25390. Donations over $5.00 are tax deductible for New Zealand taxpayers and receipts will be sent to donors showing the amount donated.
The income from this fund is used to support travel costs within New Zealand of speakers to meetings organised by the RASNZ or its Affiliated Societies.
This group publicises sensible lighting issues, provides material on lighting issues and assists with campaigns to limit excessive, wasteful outdoor lighting and promote dark skies.
This group was formed during 2010 to replace the former Education Section. It aims to provide resources to teachers and those interested in astronomy education. Ron Fisher has been appointed as the co-ordinator of this group.
Donations to the RASNZ are added to the "Special Purposes Fund" to assist with projects as determined from time to time by the RASNZ Council
