New Zealand Urban Design Protocol
The NZ Urban Design Protocol encourages the use of Community Action
Projects to highlight the benefits of good urban design. RASNZ and its
affiliated societies are involved in providing astronomical
opportunities to the public. These events, when organised within urban
environs, are limited by the effects of poor lighting. Future events
will provide opportunities to distribute information relating to the
effects of lighting on the night sky, and will provide an opportunity
to identify and support good lighting installations.
