EcoTourism is a growing industry in New Zealand. This industry is dependant on New Zealand's Clean Green Image, which generally exists during the daylight hours, but after sunset the same problems that exist around the developed world show up over New Zealand. Sky glow, light pollution or just straightout poor lighting casts a veiling glow over the urban areas of new Zealand which spills out into the surrounding rural areas.
